How Families Can Compare Two NIL Offers

Compare net value, workload, restrictions, risk and strategic fit—not compensation alone.

Place each offer side by side. List gross compensation, payment timing, deliverables, travel, production costs, exclusivity, content ownership, termination rights and dispute provisions.

Estimate the athlete’s time and out-of-pocket cost. A smaller offer may have better net value if it requires less work or grants fewer long-term rights.

Flag unclear language and identify which questions require an attorney, tax professional or other qualified advisor. The comparison tool supports discussion; it does not determine which offer is right.
